John A. Frizzell

John A. Frizzell, 75, of Port Charlotte passed away May 24, 2009. He was born January 14, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to John and Eva (Hesse) Frizzell. John served in the US Army during Korean War. He was a member of Gulf Cove United Methodist Church and the American Legion. John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working with his hand doing wood crafting. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Joan; sons, William "Bill" Frizzell of Placida and Michael Frizzell of Arcadia; grandchildren, Kristal Lynn Spade, Jake Frizzell, Cody Frizzell, Josh Frizzell and Dylan Frizzell and great-grandchildren, Haylie Spade, Colin Spade and Lawson Frizzell. John was preceded in death by his son, John "Jackie" Frizzell and sister, Dotty Dom. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Gulf Cove United Methodist Church.
