Joanna P. Blaylock

Joanne Pearl Blaylock, 75, of Punta Gorda passed away July 4, 2009. She was the daughter of Harold and Jennie (Meeker) Fry, born March 17, 1934 in Sigourney, Iowa. Joanna garduated from Sigourney High School in 1941 and married Donald Blaylock on April 20, 1952. She worked as a Cosmetologist for 14 years and moved to Punta Gorda in May 1965. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Donald; children, Forrest Blaylock of DePere, WI and Jene A. Blaylock Hennigar of the Colony, TX; six grandchildren and sister, Cladys Carriker of Delta , IA. Joanna was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Blaylock. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Carlson officiating.
