Joan "Joni" Beverly

Joan "Joni" (Sullivan) Beverly, 64 of North Port, FL, formerly of Waterford, CT passed away on December 28, 2014 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital comforted by her husband, Cliff. Joni was born June 1, 1950 in New London, CT and a graduate of New London High School in 1968. She was married to Clifford Beverly of West Warwick RI, on April 12, 1981 in New London CT. Joni worked in the medical field for most of her life at L&M hospital in New London, CT and at Fawcett Memorial Port Charlotte, FL. She was an avid golfer and enthusiast New England Patriots and an avid Red Sox fan Joni's true passion was her family and being a wonderful wife. She had enormous support from her family and that was very special to her. Joni enjoyed many numerous friends, and calling her sister Trish by phone weekly or daily for hours at end, as well as her very close friends in CT, Joni cared so much about keeping the family together and to share in every holiday or family event. Joni is survived by her husband of 33 years, Cliff Beverly; stepsons, Scott Beverly and Troy Beverly; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers, Martin Sullivan and his partner Michele Fox and Patrick Sullivan and wife Diane; sister, Carol Pasqualini and husband Barry and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Martin J, Sullivan and Jennie (Visconti) Sullivan as well as her sisters, Trish VanderVeer and Susan Pellegrino A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 17 Squire St., New London CT.
