Jennie Biondi

Jennie Biondi of Punta Gorda passed away April 9, 2008. She was born the youngest of 8 children in Bernardsville, New Jersey to John and Maria (Ceparulo) Iannotta. Jennie graduated from Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing in NJ as a RN. She was active with the local Republican Party both in New Jersey and Florida. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in New Jersey. Jennie moved from NJ to Punta Gorda in 1987. She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed creating flower arrangements, bird watching, going down the shore and her great-grand dogs. Jennie will be greatly missed by her daughters, Pennie Aiken of Punta Gorda and Cynthia (Frank) Franklin of Deep Creek; grandson, Court (Leah) Aiken of Punta Gorda; sister, Angela Cortese of New Jersey; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic L. Biondi. A memorial service will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda.
