Jeffrey L. Bishop

Jeffrey L. Bishop, 43, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away November 10, 2007. He was born July 15, 1964 in Greensburg, IN to James and Barbara (Davis) Bishop. Jeffrey served in the US Air Force for 4 years in Okinawa Japan. He worked for Irish’s Country Store for 12 years. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1974 from Indiana. Jeffrey was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Jessica, and a family man who was very kind and gentle. He enjoyed fishing and watching his favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts. Jeffrey will be remembered by many friends and family who loved him. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Barbara Brooks of Punta Gorda; daughter, Jessica Bishop of Punta Gorda; step-daughters, Jennifer Whaley of Pembroke, MA and Jessica Whaley of Lebanon, NY; life partner/companion Teresa Whaley; grandchildren, Mason and Abigail Morris of Pembroke, MA; brother, JP Bishop of Westport, IN; sister, Jill Clarkson of North Vernon, IN; step-brother, Steven Brook of North Vernon, IN; step-sisters, Grace Misak of New Port Richey, FL and Peggy Sybert of Land of Lakes, FL; step-mother Mary Bishop of North Vernon, IN; cousin David Bishop.
