Jeanne Ethelan Fruchey Porter

Jeanne Ethelan Fruchey Porter, 67, of North Port passed away April 4, 2009. She was the daughter of George and Mary (Straley) Fruchey, born May 12, 1941 in Denver, CO. Jeanne was a Eastern Airlines Stewardess, and worked for a local travel agent for a short time. Her most rewarding career was as a homemaker and she loved spending time with her family. Jeanne lived with her daughter, Karyn, for the last decade of her life. Jeanne will be greatly missed by her daughters, Karyn (Tony) Pribble of North Port, FL and Shelly Porter of Port Charlotte; son, Michael (Carol) Porter of Pennsilcola, FL; and grandchildren Ashley Porter, Alicia Poletto and Matthew Pribble. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Brandy Porter. A memorial service will be held at a later date in California.
