Jean H. Ellis

Jean H. Ellis, 84, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Millis, MA, passed away at home on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Born on July 14, 1930 in Sandwich, MA, she was the daughter of Winthrop Fry Howland and Shirley Marion Howland. Jean was a graduate of Sandwich High School, Sandwich, MA. She was the wife of the late Charles G. Ellis. Jean and Grant celebrated 56 years of marriage and are survived by their son Charles G. Ellis, Jr. of MA and daughter Brenda Ellis Sauro of ME. Jean is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 18th, at the Sagamore Cemetary, Sagamore MA. A luncheon will be served directly afterwards at the American Legion Hall, Post 188, 20 Main Street, Sandwich, MA.
