Jay Michael Shepard

Jay Michael Shepard, 37, of Punta Gorda passed away October 6, 2006. He was born January 27, 1969 in Lowell, MA to Robert Shepard and Carol (Johnson) Bass. Jay was an artist and former owner of Sportraits. He was of the Catholic faith and an avid sports memorabilia collector. Jay moved from Merrimack, NH to Punta Gorda in 1986. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Emily Shepard and son Jacob Shepard both of Homossasa Springs, FL; mom Carol Bass of Fort Myers; dad Bob and Joan Shepard of Jacksonville, FL and a brother Scot (Ellen) Shepard of Chapel Hill, NC. A memorial service in celebration of Jay’s life will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 10 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
