James P. Vaughn

James P. Vaughn, 67, of Punta Gorda, FL formerly of Nashville, TN passed away May 30, 2008. He was born October 6, 1940 in Monroe County, Kentucky to George Curren and Annie Lee (Hoopper) Vaughn. James worked as a Fireman for 16 years with Nashville Metro F.D. and owned James Vaughn Roofing for 31 years. He moved from Nashville to Punta Gorda in 1997. James was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, Nashville, TN. He was an avid UT fan and enjoyed traveling. James will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years, Joyce; daughters Ginger (Dennis) Raffield of Murfreesboro, TN, Kimberly (Chuck) Eades of Cumberland Furance, TN, Katherine (Mark) Spangler of Lebanon, TN and Vicki (David) Strain of Chatham, NJ; nine grandchildren.
