James F. Mendall

James (Jim) F. Mendall, 87, of Easton, PA and North Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Friday December 9th, 2022 in Florida, after a long and adventurous life surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on January 30th, 1935 to James (Rudy) and Dorothy Mendall in Easton PA. 

To his friends, Jim was known as Goofy after his favorite cartoon character. He was involved in many community events and activities with his family throughout his life. His hobbies were Family activities, Woodworking, Camping, Hunting and Fishing. After graduating from Wilson Area High School in 1953, he started his career in the Commercial printing industry. Working for Sandt Printing in Easton, PA and then Easton Printing Co. in Easton, PA where he retired as a shop foreman in 1995. In 1956, Jim married Marie Millheim. They were married for 66 year and had 3 children, Renae, Cheryl and Rodney. Jim and Marie traveled through all 50 states camping. 

He is survived by his wife Marie (Millheim) Mendall of North Fort Myer, FL. Renae Mendall of Lady Lake, FL. Cheryl Fortner-Tate and husband Alistair of Phillipsburg, NJ. Rodney Mendall and wife Gail of Easton, PA. Seven Grandchildren (Kiel, Ross, Travis, Corrine, Clay, Lexie, and Shaylyn). And Four great grandchildren (Emma, Ricky, Jake, and Addie).
