James A. Hoffman

James A. Hoffman, 83, of Port Charlotte passed away January 16, 2007. He was born October 12, 1923 in Menasha, WI to Andrew and Nellie (Wickerham) Hoffman. James served in the US Naval Crypto logical Veterans Association in Denver, CO. He moved from Kenosha, WI in 1982 to Port Charlotte. James was a member of VFW Post 1865, American Legion Post 110 and an Amateur Radio Operator. He taught computer classes at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club and was of the catholic faith. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Audrey; daughter, Debra (Gary) Albright of Brookfield, WI; son, Frank (Terry) Hoffman of Kenosha, WI; two grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia and son, Michael Hoffman. No services are planned at this time.
