Irene M. Roth

Irene M. Roth, 86, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away October 23, 2016. She was born July 24, 1930 in Boston, MA. Irene was a snowbird for 15 years and moved to this area from Boston, MA in 2009. She was a retired Parish Secretary for Holey Name Catholic Church, Boston, MA. Irene was an active member in church activities, a CYO Advisor and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Irene will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 plus years, Fred; daughter, Maureen (Dennis) Nakashima of Kaneohe, Oahu, HI; son, Matthew (Lois) Roth of Felton, CA; sister, Rita (Dick) Cronan of Port Charlotte, FL. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
