Hilde M. Peden

Hilde M. Peden, 72, of Punta Gorda, FL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was born November 25, 1941 in Germany to Philipp and Mathilda Reeg. Hilde moved from Darmstadt, Germany to the United States. She was a member of the German American Club and the First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda. Hilde enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, and Oktoberfest. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Sabrina P. and Wayne Alexander and Michelle L. and Jimmy Jamieson both of Pagosa Springs, CO; sons, Robert Dean and Darvy of Arcadia, FL and Andy Roy and Cindy of Pagosa Springs, CO; brothers, Wilhelm and Rita Reeg, Hans and Herta Reeg; sister, Waltraud Muller and Karl-Heinz all of Germany; grandchildren, Bryce and Alexa. Hilde was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd L. Peden. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4 to 5pm, Friday December 27, 2013 with a service to follow at 5 pm at First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda.
