Havelock N. Jordine

Havelock Jordine, 85, of Port Charlotte passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was the son of Hubert and Elsie Jordine, born March 19, 1930 in Westmoreland, Jamaica, WI. Havelock earned his Bachelor Degree in Art and Education at University of Manitoba, Canada. He was a retired school teacher. Havelock was an usher and member of First Baptist Church Port Charlotte. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Havelock will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years, Dauflin; daughter Lisa (Felix) Allen; son, Michael Jordine; brother, Ed Jordine; grandchildren, Chantel (Brian), Candace, and Paige and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Cameron. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jean and brother, Clinton. The family will receive friends 10 to 11am, Thursday, July 30, 2015 with a service to celebrate Havelock's life to follow at 11am at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte.
