Harry F. Hultgren, Jr.

Harry F. ”Fred” Hultgren, Jr., 79, of Port Charlotte formally of Danvers, MA passed away July 31, 2007 at HQM of Port Charlotte Rehab. Center. He was born December 1, 1927 in Boston, MA to Harry F and Louise (DeCoff) Hultgren. Fred served in the US Marine Corp during WWII and Korean Conflict and after competing his military duties he had a very succesful career as a manufacturing engineer in tool and dye maker. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1988 with his wife. Fred was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed cruising and vacationing in Aruba. He will be deeply missed by loving family and wife of 37 years, Samantha; son Stephen Hultgren; grandson Jesse Hultgren both of Salem, MA; half-brothers William and Edward Murch of New Hampshire; sisters Eva Hultgren and Bernadette Rosato both of Danvers, MA; stepdaughters Marie De Paola of Port Charlotte, Vicki Dunn of N. Adams, MA and Sally Currie of Lawrence, MA along with several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Lee Hultgren; sister Elizabeth LeBrun; mother Louis and step-father Chester Murch. Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Memorial donations may be to American Cancer Society, 992 Tamiami Trail, Unit C-2, Port Charlotte, FL 33953.
