Gwen Hibbard

Gwen Nell “Poe” Hibbard, 54, of Englewood passed away February 22, 2007. She was born June 22, 1952, a native of Vinton, Louisiana. She lived in Michigan for several years until she moved to Englewood in 1988. Gwen and her husband were the owners of Nautical Services in Englewood. She was an avid boater and loved to fish. Gwen enjoyed her children, grandchildren and her animals. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Greg Hibbard; parents, Prentice and Tommye Lee Malone; son, Christopher J. Fors; daughters, Brooke (Chuck) Bingham and Monique Hibbard; brother, Thomas (Diana) Malone; seven grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Gwen’s life will be Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 4 until 8 PM at the Picnic Shelter, Blind Pass Beach (Middle Beach), 8570 Manasota Key Road, Manasota Key, FL 34223.
