Gigi Martinez

Guillermina “GiGi” Martinez, 67, of North Port passed away May 7, 2009. She was daughter of Ramon and Petra (Jimenez) Ruiz, born January 10, 1942 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. GiGi moved from Jacksonville, FL to North Port in 2005 and was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Janet Otero of Jacksonville, Cathy (Stewart) DeUsoz of Woodstock, NY and Regina (Larry) Martinez of Newaygo, MI; sons, Ruben (Susan) Martinez, Jr of North Port and Israel (Marlenys) Martinez of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Raymond Ruiz of Pocono, PA; sister, Maria Anderson of Bronx, NY; 13 grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Sarasota National Cemetery.
