Gary R. Peck

Gary R. Peck, 67, of Port Charlotte passed away October 6, 2008. He was born July 2, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Carl and Beulah (James) Peck. Gary was the retail manager for Lazarus Department Store and moved from Columbus, Ohio to Port Charlotte in 2002. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge #2153 and attended Edgewater United Methodist Church. Gary enjoyed boating, playing golf and bingo. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Alysia"Cricket"; daughter, Lisa (Keith) Mason of Port Charlotte; son, Jon (Clelie) Peck of Columbus, Ohio; niece and nephew; grandchildren, Corey, Valerie, Kelly, Alex, Crystal, Alena, Brylynn and Cambree and three great grandchildren. A celebration of Gary's life will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, October 10, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Dan Prine officiating.
