Gary L. Stone

Gary L. Stone, 75, of Venice, FL formerly of Durand, MI passed away September 6, 2016. He was born December 7, 1940 in Durand, MI to Robert and Martha Louise Stone. Gary was a supervisor with General Motors and retired in 1987. After retiring, Gary enjoyed remodeling houses and working with wood. He attended Grace Community Bible Church, Venice, FL. Gary enjoyed golfing, road trips, cruises, going to the beach and loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed eating beach dogs at the jetty's while watching the boats coming in and out. Gary will be greatly missed by his wife of 8 years, Ginger; daughters, Kimberly Stone, Jennifer (Chris) Hutchinson, Melinda (Rich Chadwell) Dohr; son, Kipp (John Sechler) Stone; brothers, Ronald (Frieda) Stone and Rick (Sandy) Stone; grandchildren, Mathew (Courtney) Hutchinson, Mark Hutchinson, Dakota Dohr, Shianne Dohr, Timothy Sechler-Stone, Tyler Sechler-Stone; great-grandchildren, Braxton Hutchinson and Meadow Hutchinson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charna. A celebration of Gary's life will be held at 2pm, October 2, 2016 at Davison Odd Fellows, 2134 N. Irish Rd, Davison, MI 48423.
