Frank Walter Whitcomb

Frank Walter Whitcomb, 48, of Punta Gorda passed away September 26, 2008. He was born October 8, 1959 in Ruskin, FL to Paul and Sandra (Morris) Whitcomb. Frank worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR with his favorite driver being Kasey Kahne. Frank loved his wife, family, dogs and enjoyed delegating orders. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 6 years, Rita; mother, Sandra Godman of CA; daughters, Jennifer (Terry) Jones of Cape Coral, FL, Telisha Andrews of Punta Gorda, Cara (Willie) Wells of Punta Gorda and Destiny Whitcomb of Port Charlotte; son, Frank Wade Whitcomb of Punta Gorda; brothers, Vern Whitcomb of Charlotte Harbor, Ricky Whitcomb, Teddy Godman and Sammy Godman all of LA; nine grandchildren and best friend, Chuck Bailey of Punta Gorda. A celebration of Frank's life will be 6:00 pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
