Frank R. Orlacchio

Frank R. Orlacchio, 88, of Port Charlotte passed away July 4, 2009. He was the son of Antonio and Louisa (Buscaina) Orlacchio born October 29, 1920 in Flushing, NY. Frank served in the US Army. He was a general contractor before his retirement, and moved to Port Charlotte from Glen Head, NY in April of 1982. Frank enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and creating beautiful woodworking projects. A devoted family man, he will be remembered as a loving husband to Clarabell during their 64 years of marriage; they stood together through the good and bad of life no matter what they faced. He was also a father whose ready ear and wise council were actively sought; his passing leaves a great void. Frank will be greatly missed by his wife, Clarabell; son Richard; and 3 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dominic, Jimmy, and Louie. The memorial service in celebration of Frank's life will be at 4:00 pm Thursday, July 9 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda.
