Frances B. Teeters

Frances B. Teeters, 84, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on April 17, 2022. She was born on March 25, 1938, to Thomas and Bessie Hicks in Elliott, KY. Frances worked in Aerospace Management and was an owner of an Antique and Collectibles store. She relocated to Port Charlotte in January of 2021. Frances enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her grandchildren.

Frances will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years Richard; daughter Shannan; sons Scott, Brad, and Bill; brothers Tony and Elza; sister Kathy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters, 1 brother, and a granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Johnson-Taylor Funeral Chapel, Punta Gorda, FL. A burial at Sarasota National Cemetery will immediately follow her service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
