Evelyn L. Marcou

Evelyn "Evie" Lucille Marcou, 88, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away July 29, 2016 at Brookdale Sterling House. She was the daughter of Walter and Mildred Butler, born August 25, 1927 in Exeter, RI. Evie graduated from N. Kingston SR High School, Wickford, RI and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was an avid reader. Evie will be greatly missed by her daughter, Melissa (Mark) Alexander of Harrisville, WV; grandson, Ryan Alexander; brother in law, Daniel (Helen) Marcou of Gorham, NH ; sister in law, Margaret Dalphonse of Gorham, NH and numerous nieces and nephews including nieces; Maureen Strange, Lisa Dodge and Karen Minor. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Joseph Marcou. Interment will be next to her husband, Harold at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
