Emma A. Nazarian

Emma A. Nazarian, 84, of Punta Gorda passed away March 17, 2014. She was born October 6, 1929 in Russia. Emma moved to the States as a young woman and worked as a seamstress in the garment industry in New York for many years. After becoming disabled, she moved to Long Island, NY in 1988 where she met her caregiver, Lesa. She moved to Punta Gorda in 2006. Emma spoke four languages; she enjoyed knitting and working word puzzles. She had a big heart and took care of those around her. Emma will be greatly missed by her caretaker, Lesa Sealy; her "adopted family," Gina and Judi; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service in celebration of Emma's life will be at 11:30 am on April 26, 2014 at Pilgrim United Church. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
