Edward Atkinson

Edward "Ed" Atkinson, 91, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He was born February 22, 1923 in Atlantic City, NJ. to Edward and Leta Atkinson. Ed served in the US Navy during WWII and was the Vice President for L.B. Smith, Inc. for 35 years. He was a member of the Harrisburg Country Club, Hershey Country Club, and the Reciprocity Club. He was a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. Ed was an avid fisherman, boater and golfer. Ed will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Pearl and his loving family. A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held 11am on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, Punta Gorda.
