Dorothy Lorraine Pike

Dorothy Lorraine Pike was the daughter of George and Eleanor (Henry) Jarrell, born September 3, 1931 in Paulsboro, New Jersey. She worked for Acme Market as a deli manager until she retired after 30 years of service. After moving to Punta Gorda, Florida, she worked as a hostess at Twin Isles Country Club for almost 20 years. She enjoyed family, friends, Bingo, and traveling. Dorothy passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 at the age of 78 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda. She will be greatly missed by her son, Donald K. (Mary) Pike; granddaughters, Rachele (Gary) Green and Regina (Shawn) Sadoski; brother, Louis (Lorrie) Jarrell; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Pike, and brother, George Jarrell. Services in celebration of Dorothy�s life will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
