Dorothy Jean Nunley

Dorothy "Jeannie" Nunley, 66, of Punta Gorda passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Peter and Verda (Jones) Mancini, born March 7, 1946 in Washington, DC. Jeannie was raised and spent the majority of her life in the Metropolitan DC area. She will be remembered as a loving caring person and a mom to many. Jeannie will be greatly missed by her children, Anna Middledorf, Robbie (Beth Vernon) Dolina and Tammy (Jody) Hoffman and their father, Paul Dolina; brother, John P. Mancini; grandchildren, Hunter Dolina, Victoria Hoffman, and Rachel Gurland; step-children, Elias Nunley, Jr., Kathie Hubbard, Zandra Earle, Trina Martino, Damian Nunley and Marcia Harmon and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Ray Nunley; sister, Rose Cokely; brother, Jimmy Mancini and Nick Mancini. A service to celebrate Jeannie's life will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Praise Tabernacle Church, Port Charlotte from 10 to Noon.
