Dorothea N. Paulino

Dorothea N. Paulino, 72, of North Port passed away April 14, 2008. She was born July 21, 1935 in Fairhaven, MA to Thomas and Bertha (Fletcher) Haskins. Dorothea will be remembered as a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She worked at Acushnet Company as a winder of golf balls before retiring to Naples then to North Port. Dorothea was an avid reader. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Alexander; children, Brenda (Ronald) Sylvia, Carl (Deborah) Paulino; grandchildren, Karen Sylvia, Bethanie Sylvia, Kierstyn Paulino, Zachary Paulino, Valerie Paulino, Laurah Paulino, Victoriah Paulino, Cathrynne Paulino, Johathan Paulino; sister, Eunice Waddington of Sacremento, CA, Bertha Houghton of New Bedford, Arlene Fernandes of Acushnet, MA and Gail Elliott of Fairhaven, MA; many nieces and nephews. Dorothea was preceded in death by her parents, son Alexander Paulino, sister, Alice Borges and brothers, Edward "Bing" Haskins, William "Pete" Haskins and William Teves. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 18, 2008 at North Port First Baptist Church in North Port. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
