Dorene Kay Lore

Dorene K. Lore, 56, of Punta Gorda passed away September 29, 2010. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Reba (McMillan) Stoddard, born January 15, 1954 in Ypsilanti, MI. Dorene worked for Walmart and was a member of the Women of Moose Charter 777. She enjoyed sunsets, fishing, socializing on the golf cart and playing games with the grandkids. Dorene will be greatly missed by her life partner, Key Winkler; mother Reba Stoddard; children, Melanie Lore, Jeff Lore, Steve (Carolyn) Winkler and Shelly (Kevin) Richard; grandchildren, Amanda Norton, Jacob Norton, Michelle Lore, Sammy Lore, Jacklyn Lore, Key "Tripp" Winkler III, Ashlie Richard, Meredith Winkler and Kaylie Richard; siblings, Jeannie Childers, Terry Stoddard, Janet Gay and Kathy Campbell. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, brother, Keith Stoddard and sister, Delores Stoddard. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at South Side Baptist Church, Ypsilanti, MI . A gathering of family and friends on Saturday, October 16, 2010 between 4:00 to 6:00pm, at Peace River Shores Social Club, 29075 Riverview Lane, Punta Gorda.
