Donald Knickerbocker

Donald "Don" Knickerbocker, 82, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 17, 2016. He was born September 15, 1933 in Binghamton, NY to Lorne and Madolyn Knickerbocker. Don was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed watching sports and especially NASCAR. Don will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Don will be greatly missed by his daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Cokely, Brenda Knickerbocker and Barbara (Bob) Bruner all of Port Charlotte, FL; son, Scott Knickerbocker of Laural Lake Brackney, PA; sister, Dana; brother, Larry (Grace); daughter in law, Karen Knickerbocker; grandchildren, Jessica, Michael and Edward Cokely, Scott and Nicole Knickerbocker, Nathaniel, Jon and Julie Aton, Donald Acquarelli and Annamaria (Michael) Colosimo; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and his cat, Mittens. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen "Arlene"; son, Donald Knickerbocker, Jr.; brother, Robert and sister, Shirley. A private service will be held.
