Donald I. Pratt

Donald I. Pratt, 78, of Englewood passed away October 6, 2009. He was the son of Charles and Ida (Sanders) Pratt, born December 11, 1930 in Phillips, Maine. Donald served in the US Navy aboard the USS Howard D. Crow; he was a control room operator for Public Service of New Hampshire before retiring. He came to this area from Rochester, NH in 2000; he was a Mason, and a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Assn. He was of the protestant faith. Donald enjoyed his retirement and living in Florida, especially spending time at the beach; he also enjoyed golfing and bowling. Donald will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Ruth; daughter, Amy Roberts and her fianc鬠Christopher Read, both of Franklin, NH; sons, Dale A. (Sharon) Pratt of Victorville, CA and Christopher D. (Debra) Pratt of Farmington, NH; sisters, Dorothy Furber of Farmington, NH and Ethel DeGrace of Bedford, NH; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
