Donald Duane Johnson

Donald Duane Johnson, 74, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Darlington, PA, passed away July 28, 2008. He was one of eight children of Arthur and Phoebe (Harr) Johnson, born April 29, 1934 in Ligonier, PA. After a long and storied career, he retired from Centria (formerly Smith Steelite) in 1995. Don will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Madelyn (Nicely) Johnson; children, Don, Jr., Jim, and Kim; brothers, Art and Wayne; sister, Ruth; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:00 pm Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda with the service in celebration of Don's life following at 4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on August 3rd at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Darlington, PA.
