Dolores V. Carroll

Dolores V. Carroll, 79, of Charlotte Harbor passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born July 16, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John and Ruby (Stone) Harper. Dolores married Charles D. Carroll on March 26, 1948 and resided in Indianapolis until 1961. They lived in Greensburg, Indiana until 1975 and several other cities in southern Indiana until retirement to Florida in 1993. She was a member of Edgewater United Methodist Church and Lois Chapter #147, Order of Eastern Star. Dolores will be greatly missed by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Charles D. Carroll; children, Sue Ann (Phil) Coale of Punta Gorda, Linda (Ben) Gatch of Zionsville, IN, Faye (Larry) Marhanka of Greensburg, IN, Charles D. Carroll, Jr., and John T. Carroll both of Indianapolis, IN; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Dolores' life will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Dan Prine officiating.
