David L Donahue

David L. Donahue, 66, of Punta Gorda passed away May 28, 2014. He was the son of Howard and Elizabeth J. (Spann) Donahue, born April 19, 1948 in Louisville, KY. David was a retired educator, and moved to Punta Gorda in 2000 from Miami. He enjoyed fishing and was an animal lover. David will be greatly missed by his wife of 35 years, Ann; father and step-mother, Howard and Merwyn Donahue of Rantoul, IL; sisters, Debbie of NY and Darlene of Rantoul, IL, and numerous friends. He will also be missed by his special dogs, Tango and Aragon. A celebration of David's life will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte County, 3519 Drance St., Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
