Daniel B. Rossetti Sr.

Daniel (Danny) Bernard Rossetti Sr., dedicated husband, father, bonus father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 26th, 2022 at the age of 70. He was born in Malden, MA, August 2, 1951, to Alexander Rossetti and Carolyn Rossetti (nee Thompson). He moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 1981 from Saugus, MA.
Around 1970 he started his career in the automobile business and stayed with it until he retired in 2008. Danny loved his career and had a passion for helping people.

He played softball in Port Charlotte for many years and even coached little league while his son was playing. Danny was passionate about getting Kiwanis Park renamed to Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park, after his longtime friend passed away and played a large role in making this happen.

In 2009 he met the love of his life, Rayann Rossetti (nee Wallace). It was love at first sight and they married in 2010. Those were the happiest 12 years of his life. One of Danny’s favorite pastimes was riding his Harley Davidson with his wife, he always said he loved the feeling of the wind on his face.

He was previously married to Judith Fuhlman for 37 years.

His Son Daniel Rossetti Jr. (Angela) blessed him with five granddaughters, Taylor Amin (Alex), Trista Rossetti, Hayley Rossetti, Ava Rossetti, and Alycia Wright. He was also blessed with one great-grandson, Carter Amin.

He had two bonus kids that he loved as his own, Dorian Crouch (Tonya) and Savana Crouch (Fiance Justin). Dorian blessed him with two grandchildren, Grayson Crouch and Addison Crouch. Savana blessed him with grand puppies, Zeus and Copper.
He has a Sister, Audrey Rossetti Brienza, and two brothers, Frank Rossetti and Bobby Rossetti.

Danny never met a stranger and he loved helping anyone that needed it. Danny’s spirit lives on here in the hearts of all of those he met and helped throughout his life while resting peacefully in Heaven with his Mother, Father, family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life is being held at Gatorz in Port Charlotte on August 11, 2022, at 6:00 pm and then the family will have a small get-together.
