Clement "Art" Wasson

Clement "Art" Wasson, 77, of Somersworth, NH and winter resident of Port Charlotte passed away March 8, 2015. He was the son of Arthur and Edna Wasson, born December 10, 1937 in Billerica, MA. Art was an Air Force Veteran and retired from Raytheon. He was a member of American Legion Post 110 and Loyal Order of the Moose Ledge 2121 both in Port Charlotte, FL. Art was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Somersworth, NH and very active participant of First Baptist Church, Charlotte Harbor. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and playing Acoustic and Bass guitar. Art will be greatly missed by his wife of 17 years; Daryll; daughter, Diane (Stuart) Ladd of Andover, MA; son, Mark (Susanna) Wasson of El Segundo, CA; sisters, Phyllis Coyman of Hampton, VA and Franny Mae Nutting of Meridian, ID; grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Alexander, Bryce and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn, Joan and Ruth and brother, Delbert. A memorial service to celebrate Art's life will be held at 2pm, Wed., March 11, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Charlotte Harbor. Burial will be at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica, MA.
