Carolyn Sue Amick

Carolyn Sue Amick, 61, of Punta Gorda passed away March 16, 2007. She was born July 27, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to Jim and Phyllis (Wilson) Tyner. Carolyn moved from Mt. Gilead, Ohio in 1972 to Punta Gorda. She worked as a paralegal for Attorney Robert Norton and prior to that she worked for Farr Law Firm. Carolyn was an active member in the Tarpon Booster’s Organization and enjoyed putting on the Amick’s Country Jamboree Annually. Her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 41 years, Don; daughter Cherie (David) Bolyard of Punta Gorda; sons Chad Amick of Punta Gorda and Scot (Pam) Amick of Lake Mary, FL; brother Jerry Preston of Iowa; sister Nancy Green of Gainesville, FL; grandson D. Coulton Bolyard of Punta Gorda and Trey Amick of Lake Mary, FL. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, March 19 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 20 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
