Carol Goetz

Carol Goetz, 57, of Punta Gorda passed away March 2, 2015. She was the daughter of Norman and Joan (Clayssens) Gray, born April 9, 1957 in Summit, NJ. Carol came to Punta Gorda from Michigan in 2003, and attended First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs, cooking, camping, and being outdoors in the sun. Although she struggled with a long-term illness, she remained strong, and, with her sense of humor, she cheered and nurtured those around her. Carol will be greatly missed by her husband of 31 years, Brian; daughters, Brooke (Mike) Glus and Kelsey Goetz; brothers, Glenn (Judy) Gray and Steve (Jennifer) Gray; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Mark; and special "sisters," Jill Winter and Debbie Reinhold. Memorial donations in Carol's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assn. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
