Bob Moon

Bob Moon, 58, of North Port formerly of Port Charlotte passed away August 12, 2010. He was the son of Robert and Mattie Sue (Rizley) Moon, born December 3, 1951 in Garden City, Michigan. Bob served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He designed county parks and recreational areas for Fairfax Co, VA. He moved from Manassas, VA to this area in 1998. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. He enjoyed doing painting, woodwork and art. Bob will be greatly missed by his daughter, Laurel (Shawn) Terry of Aubrey, TX; sister, Kay Moon of MI; grandchildren, Alex, Logan and Julie and friends Betty (Jack) Lowery of McKinney, TX. He was preceded in death by wife, Bernadine. A celebration of Bob’s life will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 16, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. Please sign the online guest book.
