Beverly V. Hampton

Beverly V. Hampton, 82, of Punta Gorda passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008. She was born October 22, 1926 in Windsor, ontario, Canada to Carl and Velma Smith. Beverly worked for the US Department of Defense in Warren, MI for 31 years. She retired to Punta Gorda and was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Beverly will be greatly missed by her family, including her loving husband of 35 years, LaVerne of Punta Gorda; stepsons, Glen (Jane) Hampton of St. Ignace, MI and Gerald (Rosemary) Hampton of McMillan, MI; grandchildren, Sarah Hampton of St. Augustine, Melanie Hampton of Skagway, Alaska, Colleen Hampton of Bradenton and Heather Hampton of Ann Arbor, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Monday, July 14, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at San Antonio Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
