Barbara A. Sagarese

Barbara A. "Bobbie" Paladino Sagarese, 73, of Punta Gorda, FL and Highland, NY passed away after a short illness on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Punta Gorda, FL. She was born March 31, 1940 in Kingston, NY to William and Frances Paladino. Bobbie as she like to be called, had spent her last 10 years with her children, grandchildren, and the company of various friends and family in the town of Punta Gorda, which she affectionately grew to love and call home. Much like her parents William and Frances Paladino, she loved visiting, good old fashioned conversations, and sharing life's stories over dinner or coffee. Her biggest enjoyment was sharing time with her three grandchildren, Julie, Ella and Eddie, while enjoying softball games, golf cart rides, boat trips and fishing, playing with the horses and animals. Bobbie is survived by her brother, William Paladino, Jr.; aunt, Josie Pape; son, Edward Sagarese; daughter, Ann Sagareses Dedrick; grandchildren, Eddie and Ella Sagarese and Julie Dedrick; and son-in-law, Harold Dedrick who she so admired, along with his family, whom she felt was her own. And many nieces, nephews and relatives residing in New York. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, Monday, March 10, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda. A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY. She will be laid to rest beside her parents.
