Anthony R. Triulzi

Anthony R. Triulzi, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away November 2, 2008. He was the son of Eugene and Marion (Montalbano) Triulzi, born February 3, 1935 in New York, NY. He served in the US Army. Anthony received his Bachelor of Science Degree from New York University and his Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Toronto. He retired as CEO of Kingston Hospital in 1994 after 27 years of service. He also served as Adjunct Professor in Health Care for State University at New Paltz, NY. Anthony was from Stratford, NY and has spent winters here since 1996. Always active in his community, Anthony served as a board member for Hudson Valley Health Systems Agency, Vice-Chair of the City of Punta Gorda Planning Commission, Government Liaison for PGICA, and a member of the City of Punta Gorda Employees Pension Board. His greatest satisfaction came from his service as President of Meals on Wheels in Charlotte County; he counted among his hobbies the joy of delivering the meals. His other hobbies included golf and politics. Anthony will be greatly missed by his wife of 17 years, Rande; children, Rich Metcalf of Kingston, NY, Melanie Margiasso of Coxsackie, NY, Chris Metcalf of Freehold, NY, Darrell Triulzi of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jill Naugle of York, ME; and 9 grandchildren. Private services were held. Memorial donations may be made to Health Plus Meals on Wheels, P O BOX 494037, Port Charlotte, FL 33949.
