Alfred C. Scarafile

Alfred C.”Fred” Scarafile, 83, of Punta Gorda passed away August 27, 2007. He was born October 18, 1923 in Utica, New York to Antonio and Maria (Saladina) Scarafile. Fred served with the US Marines in Guam and Okinawa during WWII. He graduated from Rider College in New Jersey with a degree in Accounting. Fred retired from US Steel in PA . Fred will be greatly missed by his daughters Mary of North Carolina and Anne of New Jersey; grandchildren Charles and Katharine; one brother; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; one sister and 4 brothers. A private burial with Military Honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA at a later date.
